Here's a summary of responsibilities :

The Talent Experience Coordinator is responsible for many aspects of the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes. This includes opening, posting, and closing all job requisitions in addition to other recruiting and onboarding process support, and ensuring, once hired, new employees are properly onboarded and accurately entered into all relevant people systems. This position also assists with special projects as part of the USOPC People & Culture division.

Here's how you'll have an impact :

Recruitment Process Responsibilities - 50%

  • Coordinate the general recruitment process including opening and closing requisitions, internal and external advertising, sourcing and screening candidates for assigned positions, scheduling interviews, creating offer letters for assigned roles, arranging candidate travel, and processing expenses.
  • Provide system support for talent management platforms.
  • Field general recruiting and talent acquisition inquiries, including managing the Recruiting inbox.
  • Manage the USOPC.org / careers / Affiliated Jobs in Sport page, including posting, removing, and tracking jobs.

Employee Life Cycle Responsibilities - 50%

  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new USOPC team members by hiring new employees in Recruiting platform, initiating onboarding, assisting new hires during the online onboarding process, communicating first-day details to new team members and hiring managers, verifying information in people system, and completing onboarding tasks including E-verify. Work closely with other members of the Talent Management team to ensure a smooth and welcoming transition from candidate to employee.
  • Execute the onboarding process for all contingent workers including temporary team members on assignment with the USOPC through a staffing agency and independent contractors.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director, Talent Acquisition to continuously improve the onboarding and orientation experience and execute new hire orientation.
  • Perform accurate data entry in people system for new hires, rehires, and contingent workers. Support the new hire process by ensuring accuracy of data, verifying completion of new hire checklist, creating new hire files, collecting job descriptions, and providing payroll with information.
  • Manage USOPC and USA Basketball Parking Card program by assigning and tracking all cards to USOPC employees, interns, and contractors, collecting cards from all terminated team members including contingent workers, and monthly auditing and reconciliation.
  • Ensure adherence to USOPC background check policy by initiating background screens for USOPC new hires and contingent workers upon hire and confirming terminated employee profiles are inactive.
  • Execute the periodic employee background screen process annually to include creating a communications plan, determining eligible employees, distributing registration instructions, tracking registrations, following up with team members and supervisors, and reporting.
  • Manage the Talent Acquisition and New Team Member Resources SharePoint pages.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all People & Culture information and records.
  • Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience in a professional office environment
  • Human Resources experience preferred
  • Experience in sport business preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong solution orientation
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  • Proactive customer service mindset
  • Ability to organize and prioritize effectively while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of personnel records

  • Hiring Pay Range : $22.65 - $26.62 per hour.
  • This full-time, non-exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.
  • Bonus : This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 5% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
