- Contribute athlete perspective to help inform and advance Performance Innovation initiatives, ensuring they align with the practical needs of athletes and sport performance teams.
- Assist in the administration of the Performance Innovation Fund grant program through project tracking and coordination with USOPC and NGB staff.
- Support Performance Innovation projects through logistical and operational assistance, data management, event planning, and project follow-up.
- Help collate relevant Performance Innovation resources for knowledge-sharing and best practices among NGBs.
- Assist in developing frameworks for evaluating and advancing innovative ideas from internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in supporting forums, summits, and other opportunities for collaboration across the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Movement.
- Build relationships with USOPC and NGB staff, coaches, and athletes to understand Performance Innovation needs from multiple stakeholders and recommend solutions.
- Serve as a resource to ensure USOPC and NGB stakeholders are aware of how to engage Performance Innovation expertise, services, and programs.
- Work closely with teams across Sport & Athlete Services, Legal & Operations, Strategy & Growth, Finance, and People & Culture to advance Performance Innovation initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree,preferably in Sports Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related fieldor equivalent work experience
- Elite athlete experience or background is preferred, with demonstrated experience in applying innovation principles to optimize training, competition strategies, or performance outcomes
- 1-3 years of administrative work experience
- Understanding oftheU.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement
- Experience engaging with emerging sports technology, data analytics, or performance enhancement tools
- Strong time and project management skills with the ability to execute multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Clear, professionalwritten and verbalcommunication skills withtheability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present data effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to build rapport with teams across different functions
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to deliver high-quality work under deadlines
- Entrepreneurial spirit and interest in sports technology, data analytics, andhigh performancesport
- Standard office equipment and computer
- Office environmentin a multi-story building on a multi-building site
- Some domestic and international travel may be required
- Regular attendance at work is an essential job function
