Job Title
We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as Criminal Investigators. In this critical role, you will be responsible for conducting complex investigations into financial obligations of the United States.
You will plan and implement security designs for National Special Security Events, ensuring the safety and security of high-profile events.
Maintaining firearm proficiency is mandatory, and agents must carry and use firearms effectively.
- A minimum age requirement of 21 years old at application time applies, with a maximum age limit of 37 years old at conditional offer receipt, unless prior Federal Civilian Law Enforcement position service applies.
- Veteran's preference applicants must receive a conditional offer before turning 40 to continue the application process.
A Top Secret Clearance is required, which must be retained throughout your career as a Criminal Investigator.
Your visual acuity requirements include uncorrected binocular vision of no worse than 20/100 and corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.
Random drug testing occurs while occupying the position, preceded by a pre-appointment drug test to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Training consists of 13 weeks at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and 18 weeks at the James J. Rowley Training Center.
You must be willing to accept assignments anywhere in the United States and overseas, signing a mobility agreement as part of your employment contract.
Registration with the Selective Service System or exemption from registration is required for male applicants born after December 31, 1959.
