">We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Travel Officer. As a member of the USSS, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile events and missions, while also developing your skills and expertise. In this role, you will be responsible for providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area. You will also carry and use a firearm, maintain firearm proficiency, and submit to random drug testing. Additionally, you must possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular and corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye. You must also certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so if you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959. If selected for this position, you will undergo extensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and the James J. Rowley Training Center.
