JOB OVERVIEW
Job Description The Target Salary Range for this position is: $126,372 - $140,000 The Sergeant at Arms is seeking a Human Resources Business
Partner III (Employee Experience) to support and enhance the employee
experience at the Sergeant at Arms. This role provides guidance, and training
to employees and managers, promoting positive engagement and development across
the organization. Additionally, the role involves creating and delivering
employee programming and leadership development initiatives to drive a
supportive and productive workplace environment. Core Competencies
Key Accountabilities/Essential Job Duties
Consults with, diagnoses, and provides guidance to SAA staff and leadership on Human Resources policies and procedures in complex or complicated situations with limited precedence. Analyzes trends and metrics and prepares actionable reports for leadership. Resolves complex issues and addresses grievances. Collaborates with management and employees to implement programs to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention. Monitors and reports on workforce and succession planning. Identifies, develops, and delivers training for relevant to the workforce needs, both reactive and proactive. Suggests and implements new HR strategies to align with HR strategies, organizational values, and business needs. Other duties, as assigned.

solutions to drive greater stakeholder satisfaction. Develops, implements, and
analyzes employee programming to enhance and support a positive, engaging
employee experience. Provides guidance on conflict resolution and facilitates
productive dialogue on employee/employer issues. Leads and manages employee
related investigations, coordinating with applicable colleagues, legal counsel,
and HR team members, as applicable. Provides interpretation, explanation and
clarification of Sergeant at Arms policies and procedures and employment law
compliance. Performs ad hoc research and/or person-to-person follow up on
workplace issues with sensitivity and discretion. Crafts and updates employee
relations resources which may include training sessions and discussion forums.
Develops and presents training, including management and leadership
development. Working Conditions
Bachelor’s in HR management or related field.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
To be employed by a Senate employing office in a paid position in the continental United States an individual must:
1. Be a U.S. citizen;
2. Be lawfully admitted for permanent residence and seeking citizenship as outlined in 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3)(B);
3. Be (i) admitted as a refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157 or granted asylum under 8 U.S.C. § 1158 and (ii) have filed a declaration of intention to become a lawful permanent resident and then a citizen when eligible; or
