Senator Maggie Hassan is seeking a New Hampshire scheduler in the Manchester State Office. Applicants must be detail oriented, well organized, able to handle a fast-paced work environment, work well independently as a member of a team, and have exceptional interpersonal skills. Candidates should be dependable and professional, and have excellent oral and written communication skills, as the Scheduler will frequently interact with external stakeholders, constituents, and community leaders. Duties include, but are not limited to, responsibility for and oversight of the Senator’s daily schedule while she is in state, including all planning, executing, troubleshooting and distribution the Senator’s daily scheduling and briefing materials, coordinating the scheduling processes, maintaining regular daily communications with staff and the Senator around the schedule, managing the intake and responding to all NH-based invitations, and other projects as assigned.
The position will also include serving as the Senator’s Executive Assistant when she is in state, providing on-the-ground support such as coordinating logistics, preparing briefing materials, accompanying the Senator to events, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations during in-state travel. This may include driving the Senator as needed during in-state travel. The candidate will work closely with the Senator’s Director of Scheduling and Executive Assistant in the DC Office to ensure the Senator’s short and long-term scheduling goals are met. This position requires physical presence at the Manchester, NH Office during business hours and occasional assignment outside business hours, as needed.
