What are the responsibilities and job description for the SCHEDULING ASSISTANT position at United States Senate?
Senator Ron Wyden’s office seeks a Scheduling Assistant. Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: providing administrative support to the Scheduling Team; organizing and responding to incoming meeting requests and invitations; managing special office projects and requests; and other administrative duties as required by daily operations of the office. Successful candidates will be self-starters, have the ability to prioritize and follow through on multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, and have a positive, problem-solving attitude. Candidates must be detail-oriented, resourceful, and have strong organizational skills. Candidates should also have strong written and oral communication skills, be able to exercise sound judgment and discretion, be professional at all times, and be available to work long hours when necessary. Previous Congressional work experience and scheduling or executive assistant experience is preferred.
