Job Description
The Target Salary Range for this position is : $138,009 - $175,000
We are hiring for a Senior IT Manager to lead our Quality Assurance (QA) initiatives. The manager is a key leadership role within the U.S. Senate SAA CIO organization responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing a robust QA strategy that ensures the delivery of high-quality, secure, and reliable software solutions. The QA Manager will play a critical role in defining and executing an automated testing strategy, optimizing processes, and fostering a quality culture across software development and COTS application initiatives.
Key Accountabilities / Essential Job Duties
Develops and implements IT strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring effective execution across specialized IT domains. Leads diverse IT teams, fostering professional growth, collaboration, and excellence in specialized areas such as UX, product development, software development, business partners, quality assurance, COTS development and vendor management. Champions the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and best practices to drive innovation and improve service delivery and product development. Builds and maintains strong relationships with business partners, customers, and vendors, ensuring IT strategies and projects align with stakeholder needs and expectations. Oversees the operational aspects of the IT department, ensuring efficient resource allocation, process optimization, and delivery of high-quality IT services and products. Manages budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered within budget and contribute to the financial objectives of the organization. Other duties, as assigned.
