The Office of Senator Tammy Duckworth seeks an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Special Assistant for the DC office.
The position centers on executing an active daily schedule for the Senator in DC as well as traveling to Illinois to support the Senator in state. This position also requires working as a team with the entire Duckworth staff to problem solve and coordinate the Senator’s movements, assisting the Senator with her accessibility needs, including advancing locations to ensure accessibility, and tracking high-level verbal and written correspondences.
Qualified candidates must be discreet and collaborative and have excellent communication and organizational skills. Additionally, a pro-active approach to problem solving is vital. This role is not an entry level position. Relevant experience on or off the Hill is a must. The annual salary for this position is $60,000.
