New Jersey Democratic Senator is seeking a Staff Assistant in Barrington, NJ Office. Applicants must be detail oriented, well organized, able to handle a fast-paced work environment and work well in a team, and have exceptional interpersonal skills. Candidates should be personable, dependable and professional to support a very busy front office, and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
This position will require in-person presence in the office.
Duties include, but are not limited to, answering phones, maintaining office voicemail, greeting visitors, sorting mail, scheduling, various projects and other administrative duties as assigned, opening and closing the office, as well as providing support to Outreach and Casework staff as needed. Community relationships and ties a plus. Non-English language skills a plus.
