What are the responsibilities and job description for the Thread Inspector position at United States Steel Corporation?
Requirements :
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Must pass Background Check
- Must pass hair follicle and urine drug screen
- The ability to work an industrial schedule including overtime (rotating or fixed 8-hour shift work, which will include Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays).
- Adherence to safety procedures / guidelines at all times.
- Work with and around materials that may be hot, heavy or sharp, and hazardous chemicals.
- Ability to perform manual labor and lift in excess of 25 lbs
- Previous industrial or manufacturing experience
- Machine Safety Inspections
- Measurement Gauges
- Calipers and Micrometers
