- As a Utilities Operating Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of critical systems, including:
- 7 HTHW Boilers
- Compressed air system
- Fire water pumps
- Potable water treatment system
- Wastewater treatment system
- Numerous water distribution systems
- You may be required to work at heights and/or in confined spaces, and you will be working in various areas of the plant location. Depending on the area, environmental conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, and noisy.
- We are looking for candidates with experience in:
- Potable and Wastewater Treatment (State Certification Not Required)
- Fork Truck and Telehandler Operation
- Water Testing and Treatment
- HTHW Boiler Experience
- Preventive / Corrective Maintenance and Trouble Shooting Skills
- Exceptional Safety Practices
- Light Maintenance
- Minimum of 1 year manufacturing and/or industrial experience (including relevant experience gained in military service) or equivalent education
- High School Diploma or GED
- Class 1B or higher Boilers License
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Strict adherence to safety procedures and guidelines at all times
- Punctuality, consistent attendance, and self-direction for the success of the operations
- This is a safety sensitive position requiring drug and alcohol testing
