Job Overview

The United States Youth Volleyball League (USYVL) is actively seeking a passionate and experienced Clinician (Head Volleyball Coach) for our EL SEGUNDO 2025 program. This pivotal role is dedicated to providing children aged 7 to 15 with a supportive environment to learn and participate in volleyball.

Key Responsibilities

• Instruct and demonstrate volleyball fundamentals to young athletes
• Organize and manage home and inter-site game days
• Communicate effectively with the USYVL National Office
• Attend and participate in training meetings
• Conduct a comprehensive 2-hour coaching clinic
• Oversee and guide the site volunteer coaches in their instructional roles
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven experience in coaching or playing volleyball at high school, club, college, or advanced levels
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate young athletes
• Team-oriented mindset with organizational skills for managing game days and clinics

• Demonstrated experience in volleyball coaching or playing at competitive levels
• A genuine enthusiasm for working with children aged 7-15

Compensation And Benefits

Compensation for the Clinician (Head Volleyball Coach) position will be based on experience and the duration of the season. The anticipated commitment for this role is twice weekly over an eight-week season from April 2, 2025, to June 7, 2025.
