Key Responsibilities
- Instruct and supervise site volunteer coaches in delivering volleyball fundamentals.
- Demonstrate proper volleyball techniques to young athletes.
- Organize and manage home and inter-site game days.
- Maintain effective communication with the USYVL National Office.
- Attend training meetings and facilitate a 2-hour coaching clinic.
- Commit to coaching sessions scheduled twice weekly throughout the eight-week season (April 2, 2025 - May 31, 2025) on Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, as well as participate in additional parent meetings and coaching clinics.
- Experience in coaching and/or playing volleyball at the high school, club, collegiate, or higher level.
- Proficient demonstration of volleyball fundamentals.
- Strong communication abilities to liaise with the USYVL National Office.
- Enthusiastic and positive demeanor towards youth coaching.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing events and clinics.
- Proven experience as a volleyball coach or competitive player is essential.
- Reliability and a proactive attitude towards engaging with children are required.
