Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and instruct site volunteer coaches in volleyball fundamentals.
- Demonstrate essential volleyball skills and techniques.
- Organize and coordinate home and inter-site game days.
- Maintain communication with the USYVL National Office.
- Participate in training meetings and conduct a 2-hour coaching clinic.
- Commit to coaching sessions twice a week throughout the eight-week season (May 1, 2025 - June 21, 2025) including Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
- Attend a parent meeting in addition to the coaching clinic.
- Experience coaching or playing volleyball at the high school level or beyond.
- Ability to effectively demonstrate proper volleyball fundamentals.
- Strong communication abilities and a positive, reliable attitude.
- Enthusiasm for working in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous coaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of volleyball fundamentals is essential.
- Capability to engage with children aged 7-15 in a supportive manner.
