Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced fabrication environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to efficiently move, locate, and assign parts to our fabricators. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our fabrication processes and maintaining safety standards.
Duties
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials throughout the shop.
- Bring pallets as needed to designated areas for finished parts to be loaded upon.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with the shop supervisor and team members to optimize workflow and address any operational challenges.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
- Familiarity with order picking processes.
- Experience working under the guidance of a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership position is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are required.

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
