Based in New York, United Structure Solutions (“USS”) is a MWBE certified architectural and ornamental metal manufacturer and union installer. We specialize in the fabrication and installation of high-end metalwork for some of New York’s most complex and highly engineered projects.
United Structure Solutions is constantly seeking to expand our rapidly growing team of highly motivated individuals. We are currently looking for an experienced project coordinator to ensure proper contract management from prequalification to project close out. The candidate will be responsible for full life cycle of requirements to administer public works projects. Experience administering projects for GCs and public entities such as Port Authority of NY/NJ, MTA, NYCDOT, NYC Parks, etc – a plus but not required.
We are looking for someone who is intellectually curious with a hands-on approach/attitude. As a SMB, the candidate will be exposed to a wide variety of responsibilities/tasks that are outside of those listed above. About the Role
- Manages project prequalification's to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
- Facilitates the completion and submission of various compliance forms, guaranteeing that all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
- Track contractual deliverables, making certain that all obligations are met within agreed-upon timeframes.
- Assist project manager with updating logs and reports (both project and financial).
- Order supplies for the job sites, maintain inventory of materials and tools.
- Generate, submit, and track submittals and RFIs, change orders, permits, logs, transmittals.
- Formulates and implements procurement policies and procedures that are tailored to the specific needs of each project, ensuring seamless and efficient procurement processes.
- Validates work in progress to ensure it aligns with project plans, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitates the completion and submission of various compliance forms, guaranteeing that all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
- Holds the responsibility for document control, meticulously organizing and managing project-related documents.
- Ensures that document control procedures are established and maintained, promoting transparency and accountability throughout the project.
- Takes the lead in setting up and administering document control within Sharepoint to streamline document management, accessibility, and version control.
- Coordinates the enrollment process for Owner Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIP) and Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs (CCIP).
