As a Central Processing Pharmacy Technician, you will have the opportunity to make a difference by positively supporting our pharmacy teams across the United Family. First and foremost, our primary responsibility is ultimate guest service. You will be responsible to the company for the efficient, safe, effective operation of the pharmacy. Communicating with pharmacy, support, and operations teams, reviewing patient records, providing immunizations, and entering prescription data while complying with both State and Federal law, ensures that we can meet the needs of our guests. You will provide remote assistance to the pharmacy teams, prioritizing the workflow of numerous pharmacies and efficiently processing prescription orders.

- Responsible to our guests and for building a reputation of ultimate guest service
- Responsible for remote entry of prescription data, third party resolution, medication therapy management, and other miscellaneous tasks across the pharmacies of the United Family
- Troubleshooting, diagnostics, and implementation of training regimens across the pharmacies within the United Family
- Maintain confidentiality when handling patient records
- Coordinating and scheduling immunization appointments and clinics
- Communicate with guests, pharmacy team members, support personnel, operations staff, and third-party vendors to efficiently execute tasks associated with pharmacy workflow
- Other duties as assigned by management
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be registered with the State Board of Pharmacy of both Texas and New Mexico as a Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Must maintain required continuing education and renew license as required by State Boards
- Immunization and AHA CPR certifications preferred. On-site training and certification available
- Flexible schedules, including evening and weekend hours required
- Some in-store retail shifts may be required
- Pharmacy team will train, but individual must have the ability to complete on the job training and exam which includes, but not limited to:
- Guest service duties
- Efficient utilization of pharmacy technology (computer, email, etc.)
- Prescription input and preparation
- Pharmacy inventory control
- Pharmacy-related math
- Must be able learn and understand Pharmacy-related laws
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Perform all other physical aspects of the job including bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, standing and walking for 8-10 hour period
- Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
- Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
