The Premade Salad Supervisor is first and foremost responsible for guest relations and satisfaction He/She operates the salad bar according to Company standards, and supervises salad bar associates. He/She orders salad bar product, and ensures product quality, freshness, safety and selection.

Key Responsibilities
- When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest
- Must be attentive at all times to needs of guests and be ready and able to direct/take guest to items in question
- Must be attentive to guest flow and be flexible to move from one activity to another quickly as dictated by guests
- Follow daily work schedule as assigned by management
- Supervises, motivates, trains and participates in the hiring of salad bar team members; monitors team member performance and recommends actions such as hiring, firing, layoff and disciplinary action; Schedules salad bar team members
- Prepares fresh fruits and vegetables and salads for the salad bar; stocks, dates, and rotates salad bar products to ensure quality, freshness, selection, and adequate quantity to meet guest demand
- Controls shrink and cost; prevents the sale of out of code and product that does not meet standards
- Orders, receives, checks and controls inventory to ensure adequate quantity, quality and freshness
- Creates effective promotional and seasonal displays
- Complies with all food and workplace safety rules and regulations; ensures proper signing and pricing
- Implements correct product preparation techniques; uses and operates related equipment such as pallet jack, hand truck, knives, safety cutters, scales, soup kettles, garbage disposal and pineapple cutting machine
- Assists guests by making product suggestions and engages in suggestive selling
- Ensures safety, cleanliness and sanitation of work area, cooler, equipment and display area
- Perform any other related duties as requested or required by management in accordance with company guidelines
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work in fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner
- Ability to perform all physical aspects of the produce duties including but not limited to standing, bending, lifting, squatting, climbing and walking
- Ability to lift to a height of 4 feet, items weighing up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to read, write and complete company forms
- Ability to work for periods of up to 8-10 hours in 60 degree temperatures (controlled atmosphere for sanitation and ripening control purposes)
- Must maintain a current Food Safety certification
- Ability to safely operate job related equipment such as slicers, processors, juicers and other equipment
- Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude.
