What are the responsibilities and job description for the I/DD Qualified Professional (QP) position at United Support Services, Inc.?
United Support Services is looking for a Qualified Professional (QP) to join our team. This position is a remote position, that will include work-from-home and 50% travel throughout Granville, Vance, Durham, and Wake counties. The position will monitor member services and supervise direct support professionals in the Eastern regions of NC.
Requirements for the position include:
- Minimum of a 4 year Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited College
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Development Disabilities
- Clean driving records with reliable transportation
- Well-versed knowledge of Microsoft Word, web-based sites
- Ability to multi-task
- Effective communication (written and verbal)
- Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to execute ideas
Job Duties include:
- Provide monthly/quarterly supervision and training to Direct Support Professionals and USS members
- Conduct new hire training for Direct Support Professionals
- Daily review of members' progress notes
- Keep Electronic Health Record up to date with all accurate information
- Attend all meetings in-person that involve the clients served (ISP, SIS, Team Meetings, etc.)
- Monitor the services of the member and to assure the quality of care is being met
- Provide service documentation to the Care Coordinators/MCOs/State
- Attend needed trainings to assure USS is up to standards with the State and the MCOs.
- Develop short term goals and task analysis with members and their team
- Review and analyze outcome data to ensure habilitative goals are working and being performed properly
- Participate in the on-call phone rotation and provide emergency on-call consultation as needed
- Provide emergency back-up staffing for USS clients
- Promote positive interactions with client, family, other staff of USS, and all team members involved in the treatment

Pay: $47,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
