The Insurance Verifier plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless financial clearance for patients by verifying insurance benefits, obtaining authorizations, and accurately documenting coverage details. Responsibilities :
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for scheduled procedures.
- Obtain necessary authorizations and pre-certifications from insurance providers.
- Accurately document patient coverage details, including copays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket costs.
- Communicate with patients regarding their insurance benefits and financial responsibilities.
