We are now hiring a Patient Care Technician for PACU
This position provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. Provides for personal care, comfort and assists with safe, clean environment, maintains equipment and supplies.

Minimum Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of related healthcare experience.

Provides general nursing care, such as positioning patients, lifting and turning patients, transferring patients and assisting patients with ambulation.Prepares patient bays, including stocking nurse server and room with anticipated patient care items.Answers patient call lights, making rounds to assigned patients.Assists with simple dressing changes, using Universal PrecautionsNotifies appropriate licensed personnel when patient needs assistance.Reports and when appropriate, records any changes observed in the condition or behavior of the patient.Takes and records temperature, pulse, respiration, blood-pressure, weight and intake-output.Understands specialty equipment, keeps knowledge up-to-date, is a technical resource for others, follows technology practices and standards.Demonstrates the ability to write clear, concise notes, simple charting that reflects patient care given.Performs patients surgical preps as directed by RN.Other duties as assigned.Required Experience
