- This is a fast-paced multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center environment that is driven to reach the highest quality and satisfaction outcomes.
- The patient population is from infant to geriatric.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Current South Carolina Nursing License
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum 2 years experience in a hospital or fast-paced ASC multi-specialty setting
- Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff, physicians, vendors, and the public.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptivity to change, creativity, and innovation.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
- Understands the principles of the aseptic technique and their implementation
- Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.
- 2-5 yrs Experience working in a fast-paced ASC or hospital pre-op/ PACU setting.
- Must be team-oriented and patient-focused. USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
