Our facility is accredited by The Joint Commission.Job Summary : The Clinical Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the operating room and implements process initiatives to improve efficiency of services and patient experience. The Clinical Director will report to the ASC Administrator and will collaborate with them to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance. The Clinical Director will oversee staff credentialing, preventative safety measures, risk management duties, and use their clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities : Devise strategies and plans for the clinical department according to company standards for excellent service and growthAssume responsibility of budgeting and resourcingPlan and oversee all patient care or administrative operations and programsRecruit employees to ensure department is staffed with qualified personnelAssign cases and create schedules for all employeesCoordinate and supervise staff providing constructive feedbackProvide personnel with clinical training and opportunities for continuous developmentEvaluate performance and discipline employees when necessaryMonitor compliance to legal guidelines, internal policies and quality standardsOther duties may be assignedWho We AreAt USPI, we create relationships that create better care. Currently licensed in the state of New Jersey.CPR certification and advanced life support certification required.At least two years perioperative care experience. At least two years of supervisory experience in the outpatient surgery area preferred. Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients and others. Proven experience as a clinical director or other managerial position. Experience in clinical supervision and program management. Solid understanding of budgeting, resourcing and performance evaluation procedures. Excellent knowledge of ASC standards and regulations for the clinical field. Excellent communication and people skills. Exceptional organizational and leadership skills. Aptitude in resolving issues and conflicts.Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities. Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
