Required Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current licensure in the State of Oklahoma as a registered nurse.
- Meets the needs of the nursing service as demanded by the schedule, particularly when overtime hours and time changes become necessary.
- Current BLS.
- Full-time RN must have current ACLS, or obtain within 6 months of hire. PRN RNs are encouraged to have ACLS. (An RN that is ACLS certified must be present when any patients are present at the facility)
- Only RNs with ACLS may give sedation and monitor the patient during procedures.
- Good written skills and verbal command of the English language.
- Skills in dexterity for moving and positioning patients.
- Ability to work well with Physicians, fellow employees and patients.
- Positive response to supervision and criticism.
- Requires extensive mobility.
- Periodic pushing, pulling and lifting patients
- Potential exposure to HLD agents
- Possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens and patients with communicable diseases.
