Key Responsibilities
- Imaging and Patient Care
- Perform radiographic imaging, with a focus on C-arm fluoroscopy, according to established protocols and surgeon directions.
- Position and prepare patients accurately for procedures, ensuring safety and comfort while achieving high-quality imaging results.
- Assist physicians and surgical staff with intraoperative imaging needs, adjusting C-arm equipment as required for optimal viewing and accuracy.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance
- Operate C-arm and other radiographic equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to best practices and safety protocols.
- Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it meets quality standards, reporting any technical issues to the Imaging Services Manager or Clinical Director promptly.
- Maintain radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff, including wearing personal protective equipment and monitoring radiation exposure levels.
- Documentation and Compliance
- Accurately document imaging procedures, including technical factors and patient positioning, in compliance with HIPAA and facility guidelines.
- Maintain imaging logs, patient records, and other relevant documents as required by Providence Surgery Center’s policies.
- Stay up-to-date with state and federal regulations for radiologic procedures and patient safety standards.
- Flexible Scheduling: As-needed PRN position with no mandatory weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts.

Required Skills:
- Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Certification: Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography; active state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in Tennessee.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist with C-arm fluoroscopy experience, preferably in a surgical or multispecialty environment.
- Skills: Proficiency in operating C-arm and related radiologic equipment, with strong knowledge of sterile techniques and patient positioning.
