Key Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate all aspects of the facility's operating functions, processes, and staff.
- Serve as a liaison between the Governing Board, Medical Staff, and facility departments.
- Report facility activities to the Governing Board at regular intervals.
Business Operations
- Deploy, monitor, and ensure integration of USPI's EDGETM operational processes within the facility's QPI program.
- Maintain compliance with USPI policies and procedures related to internal controls.
- Develop, monitor, and control staffing needs, operations budget, and capital budget.
Clinical Services
- Evaluate and develop existing and new surgical services in conjunction with the Medical Director and Medical Executive Committee.
- Manage clinical departments, including nursing, central supply, medical records, and housekeeping.
- Monitor adequate function of surgical equipment and patient care equipment through contracted services.
