What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales - Fire Alarm Systems position at United Systems Fire & Security?
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Salesperson to join our team at United Systems Fire & Security. In this role, you’ll be responsible for selling fire life safety systems for new construction projects, tenant improvements, and retrofits. A background in the fire alarm industry is highly preferred, as you’ll be helping clients with their fire protection needs while ensuring code compliance and safety. Familiarity with Bluebeam is also a plus, as you’ll be working with project blueprints and plans. If you’re passionate about fire safety, have sales experience, and understand the importance of fire alarm systems, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development: Pursue new opportunities in construction, tenant improvements, and retrofits, focusing on fire life safety systems.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with various contractors and building owners.
- Proposals & Estimates: Prepare proposals, ensuring compliance with fire codes.
- Blueprints: Use Bluebeam to analyze project plans and integrate fire safety systems.
- Submit Contracts for Booking: Work directly with administrators to ensure all relevant documents are prepared for the handover to Operations Team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in fire alarm systems or related fields.
- Knowledge of fire life safety systems and codes (NFPA, local fire codes).
- Proficiency with Bluebeam and blueprint analysis.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
