We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Specialist to support and manage complex networking, application, and virtualized hardware systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of Cisco-based technologies, virtualization platforms, and call center technologies such as Verint Call Recording and eGain tools. This role is essential for ensuring seamless integration, optimization, and performance of these systems.
Key Responsibilities: Networking & Application Infrastructure:- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure components, including Cisco Gateways, CUCM (Cisco Unified Communications Manager), CVP (Cisco Voice Portal), and ICM (Intelligent Contact Manager) for call routing and voice applications.
- Integrate and maintain VXML (Voice XML) and VVB (Voice Browser) for enhanced voice applications.
- Support and troubleshoot Cisco networking devices, ensuring efficient performance, security, and scalability across systems.
- Manage and troubleshoot Verint Call Recording and eGain tools within call center environments, ensuring high-quality interaction capture and reporting.
- Administer and optimize VMware and hardware-based solutions, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure, including virtual machines (VM), and physical hardware resources.
- Develop infrastructure strategies and support cloud-based and hybrid solutions for hosting networking and application platforms.
- Perform capacity planning, ensuring that network and application infrastructure meets business demands.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and fault-tolerant configurations for critical infrastructure.
- Provide technical support and perform performance tuning, upgrades, and updates to networking and virtualized environments.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, application developers, IT operations, and security teams, to ensure system requirements and operational goals are met.
- Create and maintain detailed system documentation, including architectural diagrams, deployment strategies, and troubleshooting guides.
- Assist in incident response and problem management, identifying and resolving network/application issues in a timely manner.
- 5 years of experience in networking and application infrastructure, with a focus on Cisco technologies (Cisco Gateways, CUCM, CVP, ICM, VXML, VVB).
- Extensive experience with Verint Call Recording, eGain tools, and call center technologies.
- Strong knowledge of VMware, virtualization technologies, and cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Expertise in network configuration, troubleshooting, and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, routing protocols, network security, and load balancing.
- Proficient in managing hardware systems, virtual machines, and server configurations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent Cisco certifications.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent certification.
- Experience with cloud-hosted infrastructures and hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks for incident and change management.
- Knowledge of APIs, integration platforms, and SaaS applications.
