Duties
- Construct and install framing for walls, floors, and roofs according to blueprints and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials such as wood, metal, and concrete.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Perform tasks related to siding installation, stucco application work as needed.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively when required for project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in the installation of metal studs and other framing materials as necessary.
Requirements
- MUST be bilingual.
- Proven experience as a Framer or Carpenter in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with various construction techniques including concrete forming and drywall installation.
- Knowledge of siding installation methods and stucco application is preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
- Strong physical stamina; must be able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A background in construction management is a plus but not mandatory.
