Duties

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs through effective questioning.
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and enhance overall customer experience.
• Stay informed about product features, promotions, and industry trends to provide the best service possible.
• Consult with customers needing roadside service
• Manage our online sales

Experience

• Previous experience in a customer service or sales role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and overcoming objections.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for helping others and providing exceptional service.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role in automotive repair or industrial equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, vehicle maintenance, and repair techniques.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals related to diesel mechanics.
• Ability to perform welding tasks as required for repairs.
• Familiarity with various types of industrial equipment is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• CDL and driving experience is definitely a plus
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to diesel mechanics are preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
• Computer skills are a must
• Willing to talk with customers via phone, in person, and electronically
• Willing to make cold calls and drum up business when necessary
• Willing to take pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
