We are growing our Tampa and Apollo Beach, FL locations and have an immediate need for a Mortgage Loan Officer.

Responsibilities:
Engage in exploratory questioning regarding prospective borrower’s income and debts to match customer needs to a product
Maintain knowledge of company products and pricing, including lock-in procedures and underwriting guidelines
Educate prospective borrower on the home buying and refinancing processes.
Ensure customer information is correct and verified in the loan package, submissions must be complete and accurate
Ensure timely follow-up to customers, processors, and lender requests
Ability to meet monthly/quarterly funding goals as agreed upon
Assist borrower in understanding and clearing credit problems, along with expectations throughout the process
Have all files to the processor within 24 hours
Must comply with the Bank’s BSA/AML and OFAC Compliance and Consumer Compliance policies and procedures relevant to responsibilities
Qualifications:
Minimum two years of sales experience or mortgage loan origination
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to remain competitive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as necessary
Detail oriented
Team oriented attitude
Possess a strong desire to provide superior customer service
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
