Position Summary
The Senior Manager Financial Planning and Analysis (Senior Manager FP&A) will provide critical information reporting and FP&A support to the platform and management team. Partnering with the strategic finance and accounting teams, the highly evaluative candidate will not only deliver FP&A processes, including the annual budget preparation and ongoing business forecasting, development of presentation material for monthly investor updates, and providing monthly business performance updates, the ideal candidate will also drive discussions around business trends, development of relevant KPI/metrics, delve into dynamic modeling to deliver data-driven information to business leaders.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide Senior leadership with forward-looking information to assist with their decision-making responsibilities.
- Develop, validate, challenge, and explain key financial trends, indicators, and performance.
- Work with key stakeholders to improve processes and drive productivity initiatives.
- Support the annual corporate budget process as well as monthly tracking of budget initiatives and attainment.
- Integrate with the accounting team to support efficient monthly financial preparation and close, along with development of detailed monthly performance review package for each practice and corporate.
- Development and preparation of organizational and practice-specific monthly forecasts, variance analysis, internal and external financial presentations.
- Creation and distribution of weekly, monthly, and quarterly information to the Executive Leadership Team, the Board of Directors and operational leadership.
- Assess need for, and implementation of, financial system reporting tools.
- Build a team of one to two FP&A managers/analysts.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required, MBA or job-related advanced certification a plus.
- Four to six (4-6) plus years of FP&A and/or Corporate Finance experience, including direct responsibility for preparation of Board materials and executive presentations required.
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
- Past experience within a private equity-backed portfolio company strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills to achieve win-win scenarios.
- Strong PowerPoint presentation preparation skills.
- Ability to condense disparate information into a concise message for senior leaders.
- Must be energetic, highly motivated, and able to work independently.
- Must be able to work in a fast-growing, rapidly evolving business, often with multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong prioritization and project management skills required.
- Passion for accuracy in reporting data to the business.
- High-speed, reliable internet connection to ensure uninterrupted communication and access to necessary systems and tools.
- Quiet and private work environment to maintain confidentiality and minimize background noise during calls.
- Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools, such as video conferencing software, instant messaging platforms, and customer relationship management systems.
- Compliance with all security and privacy policies and protocols.
- This role will oversee a team with specific positions and headcount defined based on organizational needs.
- This position may require some travel based on business needs but is not expected to be frequent.
- Regularly required to sit and stand for extended periods.
- Involves standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, and twisting.
- Requires full range of body motion, including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 20 lbs.
