About The Role
The Work Process Manager supports the analysis of contracts for capturing information necessary for revenue and billing purposes. The Manager works with the Operations team to create and implement the necessary documentation, and work flows as well as identifies the required resources to support the management of unbilled and AR. The position will work with multiple locations across the company to ensure the consistent implementation of processes and documents which allow for reporting and job tracking comparisons.
This position reports directly to the President, Operations - Southeast
Location: Preferred Tampa, FL Pensacola, FL or Shelby, NC - Travel is required for this position
Key Responsibilities
- Work with multiple Operations leads to analyze contractual requirements
- Create necessary documentation and work processes to capture inputs from the field for revenue and billing purposes
- Establish office functions to support the execution of work in the field
- Provide field support for work package revision/field changes, problem resolution, and work package/work order interpretation.
- Coordinate with Billing function to facilitate timely, accurate invoicing
- Coordinate activities of other office personnel
- Support Work Management Specialists in multiple locations to create consistency where practical
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications
- An ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree; High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must have at least five (5) years of relevant experience with experience in the distribution operations/construction industry.
- Demonstrated experience in developing/maintaining project plans and schedules is required.
- Experience reading, evaluating, interpreting, and communicating provisions of contracts is preferred.
- Must have experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software - emphasis in PowerBI and Excel - Power Apps is a plus
- Must be skilled in oral and written communication and fundamentals of work scheduling.
- Proven ability to demonstrate a high level of ethical behavior, integrity and trust.
- Must actively demonstrate the United Utility company values and support the United Utility Ethics and Standards.
- Must be able to work overtime.

- Knowledge of power delivery (transmission/distribution) work processes is preferred.
