About The Role
As a recruiter at United Utility, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our team, which is dedicated to enhancing and strengthening the nation's power infrastructure. Your expertise will directly impact our business by identifying and attracting top talent, contributing to the success of our dynamic projects, and ultimately ensuring the reliability of the electrical grid that powers our nation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
- Source, engage, and screen potential candidates through various channels, including online job boards, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job postings and candidate interviews to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience in the electric utility, energy, or related industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
- Ability to adapt to evolving industry dynamics and align recruitment strategies accordingly.
- A commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Professional certifications in HR or recruitment (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).
- Graduate degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Knowledge of electric utility industry trends and regulations.
- Experience recruiting for specialized roles in power infrastructure development.
- Fluency in multiple languages to support diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Familiarity with innovative recruitment technologies and methods.
