ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
1) Perform various tests on valves, flanges and related components including cryogenic testing, fugitive emissions testing, fire testing, burst testing, quality control inspections and other miscellaneous tests
2) Analyze valve problems and choose corrective action
3) Ability to read and analyze codes, procedures and standards
4) Assemble and disassemble valves and components
5) Generate test reports using Microsoft Word / Excel
6) Work to maintain a safe environment at all times
7) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines
8) Must be willing to work towards continuous improvement of output, quality and delivery
9) Other duties and responsibilities as needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES :
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work in both independent and team settings
- Ability to read and understand drawings
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Punctual
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of, and ability to safely use basic hand tools
- Must have basic math skills including arithmetic, decimals, fractions, scientific notation and exponents.
- Dedication to a safe work environment
- Must have good organization skills
- Ability to use hand tools
- Must be able to use and read measuring tolls including, but not limited to, tape measures, calipers, micrometers, gauges, and dial indicators
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
WORK HOURS : Full timeMonday-Friday 7 : 00 am – 3 : 30 pm. Overtime and weekends as determined by project necessity.
