Position Overview
United Vein & Vascular Centers (UVVC) is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to play a key role in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with vascular diseases in an outpatient OBL setting. This is a dynamic position that involves close collaboration with physicians to provide exceptional patient care, including consultations, diagnostic testing, and procedures.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage vascular conditions such as venous insufficiency, pelvic congestion syndrome, and peripheral arterial disease.
- Perform minimally invasive procedures like ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy and micro-phlebectomy (training provided).
- Develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on vascular conditions, treatment options, and care plans.
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and specialists for comprehensive patient care.
- Respond to patient inquiries, follow-ups, and emergencies.
- Document care in electronic medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA.
- Travel regularly within the assigned market to provide patient care at various facilities.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Experience:
- At least 2 years in an inpatient, outpatient, or surgical setting.
- Vascular experience required; procedural experience is a plus.
- Education & Licensure:
- Degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
- Active NP or PA license in the applicable state.
- National certification (AANP, ANCC for NP; NCCPA for PA).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- DEA license (or ability to obtain).
- Skills:
- Comfortable working independently in outpatient settings.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned market.
