The Regional Director of Operations works under the supervision of the COO on the management of daily operations and profitability of United Vein & Vascular Centers. This position is a multi-faceted, highly visible leadership role over managers and operations in an assigned region, requiring sound leadership in the development and execution of strategy over clinic operations. The RDO will be responsible for identifying problem areas and directing managers and their teams in executing a means to improve in achieving overall company goals.
The Market of Coverage will be over the Arizona and Colorado clinics. You must reside within one of those states.

The Regional Director of Operations works under the supervision of the COO on the management of daily operations and profitability of United Vein & Vascular Centers. This position is a multi-faceted, highly visible leadership role over managers and operations in an assigned region, requiring sound leadership in the development and execution of strategy over clinic operations. The RDO will be responsible for identifying problem areas and directing managers and their teams in executing a means to improve in achieving overall company goals.
The Market of Coverage will be over the Arizona and Colorado clinics. You must reside within one of those states.
- Operational leadership over a group of markets in more than one region, analyzing clinic outcomes and KPIs and removing production constraints.
- Work with each market leader to set operational goals and quality metrics that can be measured and evaluated to drive performance and efficiency.
- Establish and utilize KPIs to improve performance by promoting a metrics-driven culture and collaborative partnerships with colleagues and outside providers.
- Build, coach, and mentor market managers in the assigned region. Accordingly, travel to the designated locations is required on a relatively frequent basis.
- Oversight of recruitment, staffing, compensation, training, reporting, retention, performance management and terminations.
- Provide individuals with professional and personal growth and development.
- Administrative functions to include approvals of all job requisitions, offer letters, comp increases, manager expense reports, PTO, and purchase requests of assigned region.
- Identify key strategic issues facing clinic operations and craft impactful solutions. This includes detailing the problem, organizing a cross-functional team, and managing a timely analysis with predetermined milestones. Recommendations will enable the executive management team to make critical decisions.
- Ongoing evaluation of clinic operations structure, ensuring policies and procedures are intact.
- Develop strategic recommendations to support patient experience and improvement initiatives in the field, including innovative approaches for measuring and reporting unit level performance.
- Develop, distribute, and evaluate Standard Operating Procedures creating consistency, efficiency, and improved productivity.
- Collaborate closely with Drive Team and Leadership to drive performance of key business lines.
- Provide leadership and P&L ownership over the market, collaborate with local clinical and operational leaders to implement, and manage business operations.
- Work closely with key stakeholders and all corporate department leaders.
- Meet in person with Internal and /or external stakeholders to facilitate team and business priorities/opportunities.

- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or equivalent experience.
- 6 years of experience managing a P&L within a healthcare delivery setting.
- Experience operationally overseeing and managing 10 healthcare clinics/medical practices within multiple markets required.
- Working knowledge of clinical operations, revenue cycle, human resources, EHRs, federal regulations and compliance.
- Expert organizational and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success.
- Demonstrate a metrics-driven approach and is able to establish and utilize KPI’s to improve performance.
- Can easily articulate key levers that influence cost center performance.
- Strong strategic and critical thinking, analytical ability, and sharp business acumen.
- Possess an elevated level of interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in MS Office.
- Experience working with EMR’s such as eClinicalWorks, Anthem, NextGen and or Allscripts a plus.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, high growth organization.
- Experience working in a matrix reporting structure.
- Dependable; able to meet reliable attendance and punctuality standards for the role.
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% nationally. Must show proof of (and maintain) minimum personal auto insurance coverage of $100,000 for bodily injury liability per person, $300,000 for bodily injury liability per accident, and $50,000 for property damage liability.
