What would you do as a Manager, Network Integration & Transformation
As the Manager of Network Integration & Transformation at United Way for Southeastern Michigan, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our partner engagement strategy while establishing and co-facilitating the Connect4Care governance structure.

To thrive as the Manager of Network Integration & Transformation at United Way for Southeastern Michigan, candidates should possess a strong educational background with a bachelor's degree in human or social sciences, nonprofit management, or a related field-preferably complemented by a master's degree. A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in collaborative environments is essential, especially in health, human services, or social services settings. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in group facilitation and training, showcasing the capacity to engage diverse audiences effectively.
Strong project management skills and a proven track record of managing or supporting a network of partners will be crucial for success in this role. Experience volunteering or working within southeastern Michigan, along with a talent for building relationships with varied stakeholders, will further bolster your effectiveness in driving our mission forward and enhancing community well-being through impactful social work initiatives.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- A bachelor's degree in human or social sciences, nonprofit management, public administration, health and/or human services, or related field. A master's degree preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience working in collaborative environments. Preference given to experience in areas related to health human services, social services nonprofit and/or community organizing.
- 1-3 years of group facilitation experience and/or experience designing and delivering training to diverse audiences.
- Experience managing and/or supporting a network of partners.
- Experience working or volunteering in southeastern Michigan preferred
- Experience building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
