Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech oriented and highly skilled Data Manager to oversee the collection, management, and analysis of data within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and availability of data, managing databases, implementing data governance policies, and collaborating across departments to improve organizational efficiency through effective data management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Management and Oversight:
Oversee the collection, organization, and storage of data from various sources across the organization. Ensure data is accurate, consistent, deduplicated, valid and securely stored.
- Data Governance:
Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Database Management:
Manage and maintain databases and data systems, ensuring they are optimized for performance, security, and scalability.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
Lead the analysis of large datasets, generate actionable insights, and create reports or dashboards for internal stakeholders. Work with various departments to understand data needs and provide timely and relevant insights.
- Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, sales, and finance, to ensure data is being utilized effectively across the business.
- Data Integration:
Integrate data from disparate sources, ensuring that all datasets are compatible and can be used cohesively for decision-making purposes. Serve as a resource for staff CRM functions and reporting tools
- Training and Support:
Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on data-related processes and tools. Promote data-driven culture across the organization.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:
Identify data-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and ensure that solutions are implemented promptly to maintain data integrity.
- Technology and Innovation:
Stay informed of data tools, CRM advancements and technology trends. Research and recommend innovative practices and tools to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Compliance and Security:
Ensure that all data practices comply with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards, maintaining high standards of data security and privacy.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Data Management, or a related field. Equivalent experience or other credentials will be considered
- Experience in data management, data analysis, or a related field.
- Proficiency with data management tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, data visualization tools, cloud-based data platforms).
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
- Experience with data security, privacy, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
