Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a 211 Program Director at United Way of Central Alabama located in Birmingham, AL, with flexibility for some remote work. The Program Director will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the 211 Program, overseeing program development, coordinating with community partners, and ensuring the program meets its objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in program management and community outreach
- Knowledge of social services and resource coordination
- Data analysis and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Master's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred
- Experience with 211 Programs or helplines is a plus
