Position: Clinical Quality Management Coordinator
Reports To: RW Director
Job Summary
Supports the continuous improvement of Ryan White Part B services by working with the members of the Alabama Department of Public Health Clinical Quality team and with Part B medical and service providers, collecting and analyzing data related to the quality and quantity of services provided and the effectiveness of those services in meeting clients’ needs and facilitates implementation of improvement activities.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement tools used to review CQM initiatives.
• Ensure submission, review, and accuracy of client level data for various CQM activities.
• Assists with developing CQM training and technical assistance modules to educate service providers in Alabama.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and/or local policies and funder regulations as reviewed or monitored in provider site visits and/or reviews.
• Collect and tabulate data on quality indicators.
• Assist and communicate with service providers to develop and implement programs to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of services and to implement improvements.
• Support outcomes of all CQM program activities to ensure objectives are met.
• Ensure timely CQM program operations, data and reports are submitted and accurate.
• Participate in the review and development of practice outcome measures and benchmarks for services.
• Facilitate and/or participate in performance improvement teams across the state.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of statistics and analysis methods
Knowledge of medical and social support services
Ability to collaborate with diverse service provider groups
Knowledge of performance improvement methods
Teaching ability/experience
Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Virtual platforms, SharePoint
Able to work as a team member
Knowledge of federal, state, and local programs supporting PLWH a plus
Knowledge of the Ryan White Program a plus
Education
College Degree (social services or healthcare preferred)
Experience
Three years’ relevant professional work experience including social service provision, data management, quality coordination, and analytics preferred.
Other:
Valid Alabama driver’s license
Proof of automobile insurance commensurate with State law
Normal office hours with occasional overtime and some travel throughout the state of Alabama
