Position Summary
United Way of Central Indiana recognizes that the key to success is a strong and cohesive team that works through shared values to achieve our mission. The Manager of Software Solutions is a member of the Technology & Operations team and is responsible for the adoption and usage of organizational software; training and support for various applications; and serves as the Technology and Operations liaison to the UWCI Community Impact Team.
United Way’s (UWCI) core shared software tools and applications include, but are not limited to, Microsoft Office 365 (O365) applications, Salesforce and FormAssembly. This role maintains an inventory of all software tools and applications used across the organization and works alongside each division to support a variety of specific-use applications.
Position Duties & Responsibilities
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. They are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and support users to fully leverage United Way’s core shared software tools and applications. This includes :
- Train, support and assist all users with best practices and fundamentals for using Microsoft (MS) applications, including leading the roll out of new features and capabilities.
- Develop, support, and maintain the organization’s SharePoint intranet site.
- Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, support processes, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and efficient problem resolution.
- Monitor and create organization SharePoint sites and Teams
- Train, support and assist all users with best practices and fundamentals for using United Way’s applications, including FormAssembly, Salesforce CRM, Boardable, DocuSign, Zoom and Webmerge – including integrations.
- Monitor Wi-Fi usage. Change Guest password quarterly.
Serve as Information Technology liaison to the Untied Way’s Impact Team.
Email notifications and routing
Coordinate with internal SMEs for all software applications and tools used across the organization, e.g., talent management tools, accounting tools, project management tools, etc.
Assist in onboarding new team members with software setup and policies.
Support organizational users as needed with data file imports / exports, reporting, analysis, and data integrity. Candidates do not necessarily need to have extensive experience or expertise but should demonstrate the ability and be comfortable with large data sets and learning the related tools.
Provide timely, courteous, and professional service to requests from internal and external customers.
Perform special assignments and other work, on an as-needed basis.
