Child Care Information Assistant
If you’re seeking a position that lets you use your superb attention to detail and ability to use technology to support a team that helps CT residents locate affordable child care, this is the opportunity for you!
What you will do
· You’ll maintain the 211 Child Care database ensuring its accuracy.
· You’ll research information on new programs to add to the database.
· You’ll share child care resources information with the Child Care Services team.
· As the “go-to” knowledge source, you’ll help train others to use the database and its functions
When and where you will work
This is a full-time position that works 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. We offer a hybrid work environment from home and from the office.
The Pay
· $16.35 per hour
· Additional $0.75 per worked hour for certified Spanish- or Portuguese-speaking staff ($1.50 per hour worked for both languages) after 90 days

Requirements
Who you are
· You have at least a High School diploma or GED
· You have positive customer service experience in an office setting
· You are comfortable with technology and MS Office applications – data entry, telephony
· You can check your own work and spot errors with your superb focus on details
· You can communicate effectively with diverse internal and external contacts.
· Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable.
