KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and Executive Team members to participate in organizational decisions and provide strategic and operational leadership for United Way’s people, processes, and marketing efforts to ensure quality experiences for all stakeholders.
- Lead UWGC’s marketing strategy to elevate the organization’s brand, increase awareness, and drive engagement among donors, corporate partners, and the broader community. Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing, communications, and brand strategies that align with organizational goals and support revenue growth.
- Oversee Human Resources strategy to recruit, retain, and develop staff talent to execute against organizational strategy. Establish goals and training plans to increase capabilities and foster an organizational culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Enhance organizational effectiveness by supporting project management, process improvement, and knowledge management efforts. Facilitate collaborative design of cross-team processes to create the best possible experiences for external stakeholders.
- Lead and develop a team of directors, managers, and individual contributors in Marketing, HR, and Project Management, setting clear goals, providing performance feedback, recognizing and rewarding accomplishments, supporting training and learning opportunities, and ensuring an inclusive pool of talent with strong leadership bench strength.
- Oversee fiscal planning and budget management for all assigned departments, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support strategic priorities. Develop and monitor budgets, assess financial performance, and implement cost-effective strategies to maximize impact and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of demonstrated progressive experience in non-profit or corporate organizational or experience management

- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, makes decisions based on accurate and timely data driven analysis.

- Demonstrated skill and comfort in building relationships with board members, major donors, corporate executives, and government and community agency leaders.
- Proven experience and ability to lead, direct, coach and mentor team in achieving organizational goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated relationship management/closing of large customer sales or major gifts.
- Excellent writing, editing, verbal, analytical and presentation skills.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results -orientation.
- Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like.
- Occasional local travel to events within the regional area.
- Extended viewing of computer monitor.
