Key Responsibilities
- Program Management: Collaborate with the team to help organize events, manage volunteers, and coordinate with partner agencies across the region.
- Fundraising & Development: Assist with fundraising efforts, including donor outreach, grant writing, and event planning. Track donations and manage relationships with key donors.
- Community Outreach: Engage with the community, create awareness about the organization's work, and represent the nonprofit at local events or meetings, when requested.
- Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks, such as managing 211 communications and data, scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
- Marketing & Communications: Assist with creating content for social media, newsletters, and other promotional materials to highlight the United Way's work.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external partners to build relationships and ensure the success of programs and events.
- 211 Support: Ensure that callers are guided to the most relevant and up-to-date services available in the area.
