United Way Bay Area (UWBA) mobilizes the Bay Area to dismantle the root causes of poverty and build equitable pathways to prosperity. We partner across sectors, develop solutions, capture the data we need, and use those insights to support public policy and create research-backed community initiatives. These initiatives include :

The Opportunity :
The Senior Generalist, People and Culture will play a pivotal role in driving key HR initiatives, ensuring smooth operations across all aspects of the employee lifecycle, and fostering an inclusive and positive work environment. This role involves partnering with leaders across the organization to support a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, talent management, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, compensation, benefits, and compliance. The Senior Generalist will also help shape and execute the organization's culture strategy, ensuring that all HR practices are aligned with business goals and organizational values.
