2025 Summer Internship Program

UWM’s 12-week long summer internship program, located at our headquarters in Pontiac, MI, is an immersive experience that allows you gain industry knowledge & make a positive impact! Here, you’ll play an important role on your team by working alongside other summer team members & industry leaders. • Internship Opportunities Available In: Sales, Technology, Finance, Capital Markets, Human Resources, Marketing, Events, Mortgage Operations, Underwriting, Legal, Building Operations & more!  

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 2025 or 2026 (current junior/senior status)
• The ability to work Monday thru Friday, 40-hours a week, fully on-site in Pontiac, MI from the end of May to mid-August
• An openness to learning, willingness to be coached, and ability to be flexible in our every-changing industry
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
• A strong work ethic
• A drive to succeed 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Hands-On Experience: Here, you’ll be immersed in the day-to-day lives of our full-time team members on your designated team. Throughout the summer, you’ll work hands-on with our technology and clients to gain industry knowledge & help us as we provide elite client service!
• Resume-Enhancing Projects: You’ll collaborate with a diverse group of Summer Team Members to deliver an impactful project to Senior Leadership that contributes to your business lane and your personal development.
• Shadowing Opportunities: Not only will you work alongside your designated team, but you’ll also be able to shadow any other area of the business you’re interested in to learn & gain insights from!
• Professional and Personal Growth: We are invested in your personal and professional growth. Following our pillar of Continuous Improvement, you can expect mentorship, coaching, and ongoing learning opportunities.
• Relationship Building: Build your professional network and form lasting connections with colleagues and mentors who can help shape your future.
• Community Involvement: Each of our Summer Team Members gets the opportunity to host, plan & participate in various fundraising events geared towards one of our many community partners.
• Team Outings: From team specific to company-wide, you’ll have the chance to participate in a variety of different events both inside and outside of work!
• Opportunity to become a Campus Ambassador: If you’re returning to school after the summer at UWM, then you could become a Campus Ambassador! This allows you to connect with your peers at your university while staying connected with us!
