What are the responsibilities and job description for the ACCOUNTING MANAGER position at United Wholesale Mortgage?
Responsibilities include reviewing approved vendor invoices and check requests for correct coding, processing invoices for payment, maintaining vendor files, monthly and quarterly reporting, filing IRS-required reports, training and assisting other team members as required and developing procedures for effective accounts payable processing.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :
- Reviewing check requests and invoices verifying the correct coding and approval levels
- Monthly review of corporate credit card purchases, verifying correct general ledger coding
- Accurately perform and complete month-end close journal entries
- Responsible for various general ledger account reconciliations and analysis.
- Review and analyze monthly expenses to ensure expenses are accurately recorded in the general ledger and complete for month-end financial reporting.
- Annual 1099 reporting to the IRS and states
