We have an exciting opportunity for a Unified Communications Administrator to join our team of experts and be involved in the rare opportunity to support a new facility and all of United Wholesale Mortgage’s operations. You will ensure the stable operation of our enterprise voice environment using a Plan, Build, Operate model.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Support UWM Team Members by building phones for new hires, moves/adds/changes, application access & trouble tickets
- Perform basic administration of Cisco Unified Communications Manager, & Cisco Unity Connection
- Monitor Unified Communication system applications to ensure peak performance
- Handle 1st level incident/trouble tickets & escalate to appropriate persons or groups if necessary
- Assist in monthly system patching & testing of Unified Communication systems
- Handle requests for hardware replacement or replenishment (phones, headsets, cords, etc.)
- Provide regular status on tasks accomplished, current issues & progress toward goals
- Create job aides for training & process documentation
- Collaborate with other team members across IT and the business
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage or emergency response as needed
Required:
- Computer-related degree or equivalent experience
- 1 years of experience in Information Technology
- 1 years of experience with application administration
- Basic networking understanding
- Basic Windows Server understanding
- Communicate technical issues and solutions in a clear, simple and understandable way
Preferred:
- BS or BA degree in networking, computer science, or CCNA Voice or other similar certification
- Financial Services industry experience
- Experience with Cisco Call Manager and Unity Connection
